National Code of Conduct for Health Care Workers (Queensland)

TalkWise complies with the National Code of Conduct for Health Care Workers (Queensland). The Code sets minimum standards of conduct for health care workers, including providing services in a safe and ethical manner, obtaining informed consent, keeping appropriate records and not misinforming clients.

Raising a concern with us

If something about your counselling does not sit right with you, we would genuinely like to know. You are welcome to raise it in a session, by phone on 07 4548 9558, or in writing by email to clientcare@talkwise.com.au. We will take your concern seriously, respond within 30 days and work with you to resolve it.

You do not have to raise a concern with us first. You can go directly to any of the bodies below.

Office of the Health Ombudsman (Queensland)

The Office of the Health Ombudsman is the independent body that receives complaints about health services in Queensland.

Professional associations

Sallyanne Keevers is a Clinical Member of the Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia (PACFA) and a Level 2 Member of the Australian Counselling Association (ACA), and a Registered Supervisor with both. She is bound by the codes of ethics of both associations. You can check her registration, or raise a concern about her professional conduct, with either association.
